The children’s ministry encompasses birth through 6th grade. All teachers at FBC desire that your children have the best possible experiences while they are at church. Our programs are designed with the needs of children in mind. We believe that our families and children are very special.

Weekly

Sundays @ First Kids

First Kids offers classes for children age birth through 6th grade.  We focus on Bible stories, play and music to teach children about God. All teachers volunteer because they love children and want to share the story of Jesus and his love.  Anyone who works with our children submits to a thorough background check prior to working. A duplicate tag check-in system is also used to ensure that children are released only to their parent or guardian.

9:00 a.m.
A ministry to birth through two years old.
Pre-school Worship for threes and fours.
Kids Church for Kindergarten through 4th grade. (5th & 6th grades help with Kids Church at this time)
 
10:30 a.m.
LifeGroups for birth through 6th grade.

Wednesdays  @ First Kids

FBC Kids is offering an exciting program Wednesday nights for children in Kindergarten to 6th grades. First Kids is designed for Kids in Discipleship! It features Bible memory games and application of Bible truths, engaging missions videos and activities, and fun activity-based learning all while helping your kids grow to be more like Jesus. First Kids meets during the school year from 6:30 - 7:30 pm.

Families are welcome and encouraged to attend The Gathering worship service, Adult Bible Studies, or Adult Choir rehearsal during this time and we will also have classes available for babies through four years old.
At our church a child dedication means that as the parent you are submitting to God’s will to raise your child according to God’s Word and God’s ways. A child dedication is not a baptism and does not impart salvation to the child. Baby dedications are viewed as a confirmation between the parent and the church to raise the child in a Godly way until the child is old enough to make their own decision in accepting Christ as their personal Savior.

SUMMER EVENTS

Kids Camp 2024

Kids Camp is a great time for kids to get away and experience some incredible activities while learning more about Jesus' love.

Kids Camp is May 29th-June 1st @ Falls Creek

The cost is $110

It is for completed 3rd-6th Grade

Parents meeting is May 22nd @ 6:30pm at the church.

VBS 2024

VBS is for all children who have completed Kindergarten - 6th grade. FREE!

Monday, July 22th - Thursday, July 25th from 9:00AM-Noon.

T-Shirts will need to be paid for ($15) before July 10th. Extra shirts will be ordered but sizes could be limited.

Family night will be Thursday Night at 6:00pm.
